Adwords, The Good, The Bad, The Ugly

Well as you can imagine from the title of this blog, Adwords hasn't always been a game I enjoyed playing!

Don't get me wrong, now I know the rules I am killing it - but when you first start out it is very easy to be blinded by misleading results.

This is why I am here to tell you The Good, The Bad and The Ugly about Google Adwords. 

Let's start with The Ugly.

Too often we see business owners set up their Adwords accounts incorrectly without knowledge, leading to wasted time and money. 

If you are going in blind, these are easy mistakes to make.

The biggest mistake we have found when auditing our clients Adwords Accounts, has been around location. We have seen all kinds of errors the biggest being the location being set up incorrectly so the client was paying for clicks in areas they didn't service. Luckily this was an easy problem to fix, however $100's of dollars had already been wasted due to inexperience. 

The Bad. In our Opinion - using Adwords Express. We find several business settle for Adwords Express, as they know no different. Using Adwords Original, you have so much more room for choice and control around your campaign. For us - this is where you get your best return. 

The Good - We love Adwords!

We love how you can position your business in front of potential clients searching for your product or service.  Once setup correctly you have the ability to be utilizing your budget to increase sales, customer engagement and website traffic.
